Attorney DeRosa has over 15 years experience prosecuting and defending matters on appeal. He has researched, briefed, and argued over 30 cases in the Connecticut Supreme and Appellate Courts. He also has done work at the Federal level, including arguing matters before the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. In addition, he has represented clients in the Superior Court when it sits as an Appellate Court for probate appeals, administrative appeals from the decisions of State of Connecticut’s administrative agencies, and appeals from the Connecticut Family Support Magistrate Court.
He has an intimate familiarity with the appellate process in Connecticut. Attorney DeRosa will put in many hours researching and preparing briefs with innovative legal arguments tailored to the client’s unique factual circumstances in the attempt to win your case on appeal. Attorney DeRosa has had success at the Appellate Courts and was recognized in 2011 as a Superlawyer and rising star for his work in many areas, including appeals.
Services Offered
For a small fee, Attorney DeRosa offers a brief consultation about your case. He will answer any questions you may have and will offer a frank assessment of the appellate prospects. Whenever feasible, he will provide a more substantial and in depth written analyze of the advantages and disadvantages of proceeding with an appeal. When a client has weighed his or her options, and wishes to proceed, Attorney DeRosa will file an appeal for you. He will research, prepare a brief, and argue any State or Federal Appeal in the many areas of his competence.
